Day 1 From Yangon to Nyaung U ~ Nyaung U full day sightseeing

Arrival Nyaung U. Station guide will meet you upon arrival. From Nyaung U airport to local Market. Then excursion to Shwezigon which is the solid stupa of which the archetype is the Great Stupa at Sanchi and it was known that, the Shwezigon was built to enshrine one of the four replicas of the Buddha tooth. Visit to Anada Temple (A.D.1105), one of the most surviving masterpiece of the mon architecture. Also known as the finest, largest, best preserved and most revered of the bagan temples. Lunch at local restaurant. Check in hotel. After check in, proceed to Manuha Temple, legend says that Manuha was allowed to build this temple in 1059 by king Anawrahta who held captive in Bagan. King Manuha constructed this temple to represent his displeasure at captivity. Myazedi (12th Century), also known as “Emerald Stupa”, a four-sided pillar in a cage. After Myazedi, study at Traditional Myanmar lacquer ware industry enjoy sunset at Pyatthadargyi or Shwesandaw or Dhammayar zaka. Dinner at local restaurant. Free and Easy. Overnight at Bagan. In Bagan there are more than 2000 temples & stupas. Indeed it is difficult to cover all temples within limited time. Therefore we have carefully selected only some major temples for you in order to avoid hectic tourism. But if you want to see more temples, just let your guide or driver known. They can show you as much temples as possible within your stay.

Day 2from Nyaung U to Mandalay ~ Mandalay full day sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Nyaung U airport. From Nyaung U to Mandalay. Station guide will meet you upon arrival. On the way to Mandalay, drop by at Snake Pagoda ( Yatana Laba Muni Sutaungpyae Muei Pagoda (at Paleik township) where on top of the image were tree large pythons and from that time on, the place became known far and wide in the country as the Snake Pagoda. Visit to Mahamuni Pagoda which holds one of Myanmar’s most revered Buddha images, a 4-metre-high statue covered with a thick layer of gold leaf applied by generations of pilgrims seeking merit. It is also known as the Phaya Gyi, the most ancient Buddha image in Myanmar. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Royal Mandalay Palace in the heart of Mandalay city. Mandalay Palace was the first palace to be built in Mandalay, by King Mindon in 1861. Then excursion at Amarapura where you can study silk weaving handlooms, bronze casting, stone & wood carving and silver smith. Relax at U Bain bridge made of teak and spanning Taungthaman lake, 1.2 kilo meter just outside of the town. Dinner at local restaurant. Enjoy night scene at Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 3from Mandalay to Heho, Taunggyi

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Mandalay airport from Mandalay to Heho. Station guide will meet you upon arrival. Transfer to Taunggyi by car / coach. During British occupation, the town becomes the chief city and capital of the Southern Shan States. Taunggyi’s modern development began in 1894, when the British moved their administrative offices from Maing Thauk (For Stedman) on the eastern shores of Inle Lake. Visit local market and lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Nyaung Shwe, 19 miles away from Taunggyi. One the way, excursion at Shwe Nyaung. Check in hotel. Free and easy overnight at Nyaung Shwe.

Day 4Inle lake full day sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion boat trip in Inle Lake. Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Jumping cat monastery, Floating garden, Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, Floating market (Ywa Ma), Hand Weaving (Tha Lay), Inn Phaw Khone, Return to hotel. Overnight at Nyaung Shwe.

Day 5from Heho to Yangon

Bsreakfast at hotel. Transfer to Heho airport. From Heho to Yangon.
